Team Registration
First Time Registration:
There is only one type of school membership in the Interscholastic
Sailing Association (ISSA). All school members belong to both a
District Association and to ISSA, the National Association. All
school members have voting privileges in ISSA, and are eligible for all
national championships.
ISSA schools are required to register for the 2007-2008 school
year. Each school will register with their district via this ISSA
online registration process. There are
four
steps to completing online registration:
- Gather background information - The team adult (coach or
advisor) needs to prepare the information listed below to be able to
complete the online form.
- Complete online registration forms - The team adult enters
the information into the online forms.
- Mail receipt with payment - After filling out the online
form, please print out the confirmation page listing your team's bill. Your district's dues and the $75 national ISSA dues will
be on the bill. Please send your check and a copy of this bill
to your district's representative as indicated on the confirmation
page.
- District Director confirmation - When your District's
Director verifies your team's registration information and that dues
have been received, your team information will appear in the online
directory. The team adult will receive an email notifying them
that registration is complete.
Before you begin, you will need the following information:
- School address, phone number, email, etc.
- Contact information for 1 (one) adult coach or advisor
- Information about your school (team status, principal's name,
boats used, etc.)
- For each sailor on your team:
- Name and Graduation Year are required.
- The following fields are optional, but will help ISSA keep in
touch with sailors. This information will not be sold, given to
sponsors nor available to the public on the website. Only authorized
team advisors and ISSA/District officials will have access to this
information.
- Birth date
- Address
- Phone Number
- Email Address

We recommend that you print this sheet and have your sailors fill in the
information. It will make it much easier for you to complete the online
form.
After you complete the registration forms, an invoice will be
generated to send with payment and to keep for your records. An email
confirmation will automatically be sent to the team adult. You may
print the invoice immediately or come back to it later using the link
provided in the confirmation email. Registration is not complete until
the invoice and payment have been received by your district and the
Director has approved your registration
